Instead of a binary verdict that quietly drops real people, the action hands you three outcomes to branch on with a Zapier filter:

Filter only confirmed-invalid, keep Unknown addresses

The safe default in most workflows is to remove only Not Valid results and let Valid and Unknown continue. Unknown means the mailbox could not be confirmed (a catch-all domain, greylisting, or a server that blocks SMTP checks), not that the person is fake.

Common Zaps: form to CRM, lead capture, list hygiene

Validate a lead before it lands in your CRM, clean addresses coming from a signup form, or periodically re-check a list and branch the bad ones into a cleanup path. The action slots into whichever apps your Zap already connects.
