Validate Mautic contacts and protect your deliverability
Check every Mautic contact as it is saved. Confirmed-invalid addresses are set to Do Not Contact automatically, while everything Mail7 cannot confirm stays mailable, so you never quietly drop a real subscriber.

Validate contacts automatically on save
The plugin subscribes to Mautic’s contact-save event, so validation runs whenever a contact is created or updated, whether through a form, an import or the API. There is nothing to trigger by hand.
Confirmed-invalid to Do Not Contact, nothing else
Mail7 returns three honest results, and only one of them changes a contact’s status:
Mailbox confirmed. Contact stays fully mailable.
Confirmed invalid. Set to Do Not Contact so campaigns skip it.
Unconfirmed. Left mailable, never suppressed.
Why Unknown contacts stay mailable
Unknown means the mailbox could not be confirmed either way, usually a catch-all domain, greylisting, or a server that blocks SMTP checks. Suppressing those would silently remove reachable subscribers, so the plugin leaves them mailable by design.
Lower bounce rates without losing real people
By marking only confirmed-invalid addresses as Do Not Contact, your campaigns skip the addresses that would hard-bounce while still reaching everyone genuine. That protects your sender reputation without shrinking your real audience.

Frequently asked questions
When does it validate contacts?
On save, automatically.
Which contacts get Do Not Contact?
Only confirmed Not Valid addresses. Valid and Unknown stay mailable.
Why keep Unknown contacts?
Unknown means unconfirmed (catch-all, greylisting, blocked SMTP), not fake, so suppressing them would lose real subscribers.
Is it on a marketplace?
You download and install the plugin directly today.
Are Unknown checks billed?
No, they are free and never counted.
